Groeien Learning Center, Inc. was established and incorporated on February 12, 2004 by a group of people who wanted to offer an affordable but with quality education.

Its name was taken from the Dutch word groeien which means “to grow”.

 

The school started its operation with a course offering in preschool level only. Initially, there were 37 pupils who enrolled but after almost a decade, the population has grown to more than 400 pupils.

 

In 2006, Grade I level was offered and at the same time, the school transferred to its new building located at Blk 14 of ACM subdivision. Year after year, higher levels were offered until it was able to complete its elementary course. The first batch graduated on March 2012.

Currently, the preschool department has three main teachers and three assistant teachers while the elementary department has twelve faculty members. They are given trainings and seminars to prepare them before the beginning of each school year.

The school utilizes computer-aided technology to enhance the pupils’ learning experience. There are still many plans for faculty and facility improvements in the future. We are not resting and have no plans of stopping in pursuing our mission to offer an affordable and quality education. With God’s help, nothing is impossible.
